As the land awakes to the intonations of Swami Ayyappa on the pilgrims route, Kadappattur Mahadeva Temple has made all arrangements to welcome the hoards of pilgrims for their wayside shelter and a place to rest before they resume their journey.
The Kadappattur Mahadeva Temple is pleased to inform the devotees of the following arrangements.

3. Facilities for Viri Vaickal and staying
4. A vast Nadappanthal (tent) outside the temple walls.
5. Lodging facilities at nominal rates at the Dewaswam auditorium.
Kadappattur Mahadeva Temple, which is open to all devotees in-spite of their religion, has been offering these facilities since July 14, 1960 when Mahadevan was born by himself.
On the traditional route of the Ayyappa devotees from North Kerala; after Muvattupuzha to Palai and then to Ponkunnam, Erumeli, Azhutha, Pumpa and among other places, the most important centre is Kadappattur Mahadeva Temple at Palai, second only to Erumeli.
For over 40 years, the Alangattu Yogam (Union) has been steadfastly visiting the temple for Darsan and perform the Pathaka Pooja (ritual) before proceeding to Erumeli. The Kadappattur Temple offers maximum free services to the devotees. The additional facilities are as follows:
1. A comfort station with large number of rooms.
2. Large bathing kadavu.
3. Vast parking lots.
4. Ample facilities for easy access to the parking lots at the temple ground through the Kadappatur road from the Palai-Ponkunnam road.
5. A venerable environment to resume the journey at an auspicious time after bathe and darsan.
6. Distribution of adiya oil, Aravana payasam, and Appam as Devaprasadam.
7. The Vazhipadu Counter is open round the clock during the Mandala Makaravilakku season.
Most of these services are either free or available on nominal rates.
The entry to the temple is from 4 am to 12 noon, and 4 pm to 8 pm. For devotees who are preparing for Sabarimala piligrimage, the temple has made arrangements for Kettunira, Neerajanam Vazipadu at the Sasthanada, Sarppam pattu for Sarpapreethi, and also other kinds of vazhipadu.
From Vrichikam 1 to Makarasamkramam there will be Purana Parayanam from 7 am to 12 noon daily. Purification and security arrangements have been completed. There are also round the clock water, light, lodging, and snack kiosks facilities.
Devotees can directly reach Palai from places such as Ettumanoor, Kozha, Kaduthuruthy, Koothattukulam, Muvattupuzha, From Palai, you can reach Erumeli via the shortest route. After participating in the Petta Thullal at Erumeli you can then proceed to Pumpa on foot or by vehicle through the traditional route. From there you can reach Sannithanam. After Sabarimala Darsan, the devotees can return through the same route through Palai.
